Thanksgiving
We had a long Thanksgiving break...we spent time in both PA and NY. Rosie really perfected walking with all the space at the grandparents houses. She also has started to feed herself, maybe gets 50% of the food in her mouth. Link to Snapfish pictures: Snapfish Thanksgiving Pictures
We got a chance to see our college friends, The Murphy's...
Nice picture of Nana and Papa Washburn with their granddaughters, Rosie and Caroline.
Ga-Ga Cline and Rosie hit noses and it was caught on camera:)

Halloween
Rosie enjoyed her first Halloween. She dressed up in the infamous bunny outfit for about 5 minutes to get a picture with Dad in his Fred Flintstone costume. Next costume was the monkey - very cute. We had a get together with friends and babies, and Papa and Nana Washburn. Our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween, so it was fun to trick or treat and decent weather. Here is a link to all the pictures from Halloween on Snapfish. Snapfish - Halloween Pictures
Daddy and Rosie all dressed up.
Rosie and Riley the Fairy smelling pizza...
Rosie as a monkey.
Rosie and Brett met some ghosts, etc
Rosie and her buddy Andy, a cow and monkey. Why are infant halloween costumes animals?
Charlotte Trip
We went to visit Charlotte, NC to complete 3 trips in the month of October. Rosie was great on the plane, she just doesn't sleep b/cs she is too nosy. It was a great visit - we got to visit a ton of friends from home and college and family. We also got to see the Bills win a game!!! We promised everyone would make the blog, so lots of pictures. All the pictures from Snapfish: Snapfish: Charlotte
Our friend from college, Amber Rose (and boyfriend Nick), was a great host. She let us borrow her car for the weekend (don't recommend buying a convertible if you need a carseat), fed us, gave us a bed and found us, not one, but two babysitters. She also had a small petting zoo at her house, which Rosie loved.
Cousin Steven and Marsha had us over for a great bbq lunch. Rosie got to play with her cousins, Emily and Matthew. She also got to see Marsha getting ready to have twins!!
Rosie and her cousin Emily...
Rosie was scared of the guys - cousin Mark, Steven and Uncle Gary (do you blame her?).
She loved Marsha.
We were able to meet up with friends from PA - Melynda, Don Juan, and baby Gianna (sorry if i butchered the spelling). Interesting to watch the two guys with little girls.
Rosie got to meet some of her "aunts" from Geneseo - Heather and Harshida.
Rosie had her Bills cheerleading uniform on for the tailgate...Amy Fay visited and helped her walk.
Amber's future mother in law was really nice and watched Rosie while we tailgated for the Bills game.
In case anyone was worried, Brett and I still like to drink.
Occassionally.
Nice family picture from the game...

October
Rosie finally went for her 9 month appointment...at 10 months. She weighed 19.5 and was 28 1/2 inches long. She has EIGHT teeth!!! No walking yet and still crawls on one knee, but she gets around fast. She loves her music class and dances all the time- shakes her whole body. She babbles a lot and understands no, which is wonderful, and shakes her finger when we say it! She loves all adult food...we don't think she will be a vegetarian, she loves meat.
Rosie in a cute outfit:)

It is getting cold out...Rosie and Andy are all bundled up now when they go out.

Rosie visits Michigan
On our way back from Indianapolis, we stopped in a little town in Michigan for the night. Rosie did a lot! We stopped a farm that had lots of activities for kids....
Rosie was dressed like a pumpkin, so fit in when we made her pose with the real things.
Dad took Rosie on a train ride, where Rosie sat like a big girl by herself, not afraid of strangers.
For some reason she loved sticking her head into these holes for pictures....as a cow
and a pig
She went on a wagon hay ride. She was more interested in picking at the hay then anything else.
Dad took Rosie to meet the horses that took us around on the hay ride.

Rosie tried to pet the bunny.
We stopped at the lake and walked around the beach.

Rosie really wanted a bottle on the bed that was out of reach, so figured out how to drink it any way she could...standing up against the bed.
Rosie had fun in the hotel room. It seemed like there was more space there than in our entire condo.
She loved the indoor pool

Running Weekends
Believe it or not, Brett and I ran in races back to back weekends. Brett did the Chicago Marathon and I did a half marathon in Indianapolis. Brett finished and ran 45 minutes faster than last year, with the cold weather being much better for a "heavy sweater". Yeah Brett!!! I also finished, even with a few hills and cold weather during the race.
Rosie and Mom pre-race, up early for it.
Rosie Visits PA...
We took a trip to PA to visit Grammy & Pappy Cline, Aunt Tara and Jacki. She also got to see Big Pappy Cline and her cousin Ashley and Uncle John at dinner.
We stopped at a pumpkin patch....
We also had an ill fated photo shoot...Rosie got her holidays confused and dressed up as the Easter Bunny at Halloween. She did NOT like her bunny ears.
