Rosie visits Michigan

On our way back from Indianapolis, we stopped in a little town in Michigan for the night. Rosie did a lot! We stopped a farm that had lots of activities for kids....

Rosie was dressed like a pumpkin, so fit in when we made her pose with the real things.

Dad took Rosie on a train ride, where Rosie sat like a big girl by herself, not afraid of strangers.

For some reason she loved sticking her head into these holes for pictures....as a cow

and a pig

She went on a wagon hay ride. She was more interested in picking at the hay then anything else.

Dad took Rosie to meet the horses that took us around on the hay ride.

Rosie tried to pet the bunny.

We stopped at the lake and walked around the beach.

Rosie really wanted a bottle on the bed that was out of reach, so figured out how to drink it any way she could...standing up against the bed.

Rosie had fun in the hotel room. It seemed like there was more space there than in our entire condo.

She loved the indoor pool

We might have worn her out, as she fell asleep at the dinner table.

Running Weekends

Believe it or not, Brett and I ran in races back to back weekends. Brett did the Chicago Marathon and I did a half marathon in Indianapolis. Brett finished and ran 45 minutes faster than last year, with the cold weather being much better for a "heavy sweater". Yeah Brett!!! I also finished, even with a few hills and cold weather during the race.

Rosie and Mom pre-race, up early for it.
Rosie bundled up in Indy for mom's race... After the race, Rosie tried to pose but couldn't move/was sleeping:)

Aunt Julie came to town to cheer Brett on for the big marathon and hang out with Rosie.
She made a sign for Brett...but spelled his name wrong.
Just joking, someone else named Bret with one t was running:)

Rosie got a kiss from Dad in the middle of the race!!

Aunt Julie helped out during the race with Rosie, it was very cold out...

VERY cold out, so we had to bundle Rosie up.

Rosie Visits PA...

We took a trip to PA to visit Grammy & Pappy Cline, Aunt Tara and Jacki. She also got to see Big Pappy Cline and her cousin Ashley and Uncle John at dinner.
We stopped at a pumpkin patch....

We also had an ill fated photo shoot...Rosie got her holidays confused and dressed up as the Easter Bunny at Halloween. She did NOT like her bunny ears.

Rosie growing old...

Rosie gets very wild sometimes at dinner time. She thinks it is a game and tries to catch the spoon - with food in it, so it makes a mess. When Rosie is with dad, it becomes a free for all and is becomes very messy.

The family went to see beach volleyball in Chicago....

Sometimes Rosie sleeps in really weird positions...like on her knees.

Dad posed Rosie in her Steelers cheerleading uniform and terrible towel...but they still lost.

Rosie is crawling (on one knee) and stands everywhere...she seems like she just wants to stand. Notice her hair...she is actually getting a lot more.

Rosie also loves to watch Mom brush her teeth...so she got her first tooth brush. She sticks out her tongue and says "ahhh" so we can brush her tongue.

Rosie went to her first horse race...

She was really interested in the horses...and even won her first bet. Seriously...she pointed to a horse and brett bet on it and it won $80. She is a Cline:)

Labor Day Visit to NY

Rosie took another plane ride over Labor Day to Buffalo. She was great on the plane...but a little antsy. It was a good trip...great to see friends and family. Rosie had a bit of stranger anxiety with all the new faces, but loved Grandma and Grandpa...and they loved her.

Uncle Mark and cousin Brody...who has the best curly hair and eyes!

Rosie and Grandma having a moment...

All smiles at dinner, Rosie loved her first WNY fish fry.

Rosie and Aunt Marcia

Rosie finally let Aunt Mary hold her after 2 days!

Rosie got to play with her 2 cousins, Tyler and Olivia. Who knows why Rosie was crying...she was a bit out of sorts with that weekend with everyone staring at her:)

Olivia, Tyler and Rosie trying to pose for a picture...

Rosie with her friends Bridgette and Dom. Another posed picture gone bad...Dom looks thrilled to be in the middle between two ladies...

Rosie got a chance to take a walk with her grandparents in the great stroller my dad found...
